Carnival Splendor was originally built and designed to sail for Carnival’s sister company Costa. Carnival Splendor was meant to be an additional ship in the Costa Concordia class but instead sailed under Carnival in a class of its own. For dinner in the main dining room, you must sign up for either Your Time dining (you go whenever you want) or Traditional Dining (you have a fixed table and time for dinner).
